Kids & Cancer made a donation to the American Cancer Society towards the “Operation Precious Cargo” fund drive. The monies went towards the purchase of a new transport vehicle for patients requiring transportation to/from hospitals and clinics for their cancer treatments. Dorie Meabon, a Kids & Cancer Committee member, was the Volunteer Leadership Council coordinator for the “Road to Recovery” project.
